What is Beta Glucan?

This enhances Immune Response when the Immune System is confronted with foreign bodies it sees as non-self (viruses, bacteria, fungi, cancer, parasites, etcetera). By adhering, or binding, to these specific sites, Beta Glucan puts these immune cells on “high alert” to foreign invaders. Vaclav Vetvicka

The doctor, Ph.D., is Professor of Pathology in the Department of Pathology at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Vaclav attended Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. Graduating with an advanced degree in biology and obtaining his Ph.D. from the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences, his main area of expertise is on the progression of natural immunomodulators.
